If you have never been to Blacklock Point, North of Cape Blanco, now is the time to check it out!
You will find a unique landscape of pygmy forests, bogs, and sandstone bluffs that boarder the Pacific Ocean.
Don't expect a lot of amenities, this Oregon State Park is left in it's own natural state for you to enjoy just as nature intended, with a few trails to lead you around.
What you need to know is that the Curry County Commissioner's want the Oregon State Park Commissioner's to consider swapping this land so they can develop this natural area into a World Class Golf Resort.  Yes another one!  Actually two more!  What is now Public Land could become private golf courses.
