Our third time here and we love it! We come to Port Orford quite often for work and this is our favorite place to stay. We used strawberries from the garden with shortcake for a wonderful dessert. Cleaned a fish from the docks with a scalpel, which was quite the endeavor. We hiked Cape Sebastian after a restful nap in the sunroom. Thanks so much!

Historic Port Orford
Founded in 1851, the oldest town site on the Oregon coast, Port Orford stands as the most westerly incorporated city in the lower 48 states.

Located on the Pacific Coast Scenic Byway (Hwy 101) - at the northern gateway to
America's Wild Rivers Coast.

Port Orford is a complete little village with:  health food & grocery store, restaurants, deli's, coffee shops, movie theater, a variety of art galleries, museums, two city parks, a working port, a large lake, sandy beaches, and close proximity to four State Parks, miles of hiking trails, and pristine streams and rivers.

This remote area offers unparalleled natural beauty; old growth forests, hiking, mountain biking, ocean and river fishing, crabbing, beachcombing, surfing, and one of the most unique ports in the world, and much more.
