Beach at Port Orford
Visit the beautiful Southern Oregon Coast and stay in our Cozy 100 Year Old Beach Cottage located at historic, Port Orford, Oregon. Sleeps one couple downstairs, or two couples using the whole Cottage.
• Hike from the front door to our three “home” beaches: Battle Rock beach, Dock beach, Tseriadun State Park at Agate Beach.
• Hike through town to three State Parks: The Heads, Tseriadun , and Paradise Point State Parks
Cottage has Organic Garden Area.
• Hike our “local” Elk River during summer and enjoy old growth forests and a swim in its sparkling waters. In winter peer down through clearwaters for a chance at seeing migrating wild salmon and steel head.
• Visit five State Parks within 15 miles of town: Humbug Mt., Cape Blanco, and Floras Lake, Arizona Beach and Sisters Rock.
• Hike the many trail systems of the Siskiyou National Forest and Kalmiopsis Wilderness. Information on hand at the house, or schedule a guided hike when available.
* Cape Blanco Lighthouse is a short drive. Other Museums and the docks at the Port of Port Orford are close by.
* Fish the near by wild rivers. Salmon and Steelhead runs are world renowned on the Rogue, Elk, Sixes and the Chetco rivers.
